Press Release: The Loop CDO for new Families

Last year, Vista Land launched its first high-rise condominium property outside of Metro Manila and welcome wholeheartedly by our city and the Kagayanons. Now the people of Cagayan de Oro and its neighboring cities get to enjoy the comfort and convenience of The Loop at Limketkai Center.

Here is the Press Release of The Loop:

Most young couples and start-up families have a specific checklist in mind when looking for a new home. The rule is to find one where they can live in comfort, convenience, and safety, especially when they have kids.

While most residential options in Cagayan de Oro fall short of these criteria, The Loop easily surpasses it all. A two-tower, 25-storey landmark condominium development of Vista Residences, The Loop offers modern high-rise homes that fit the lifestyle of newlyweds and start-up families.

Comfortable living. It offers comfortable living with its space-savvy condo units, from studio to one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom units. All are thoughtfully and carefully planned and designed with the dweller’s comfort in mind.

Newlyweds and young couples will thrive in a studio or one-bedroom unit–versatile living options that can be cleaned fast and easy. It allows couples to move around fast and with ease, giving them more time to enjoy other pursuits together.

Young families with kids will find it comfortable living in a two- or three-bedroom condo unit. With the children’s room adjacent to the master bedroom, parents can rest easy knowing their kids are close, safe, and happy.

Monitoring the kids will also be a breeze even as parents prepare the family meal at the kitchen area, as they can easily see the little ones watching TV, or playing with toys or with each other at the living area.

The comfortable lifestyle goes beyond the condo units and to the whole condo property as well. From the spacious lobby with its wide, comfortable seats, 24-hour concierge, and posh but homey ambiance, residents will instantly feel at home upon stepping into The Loop.

The clubhouse called The Canopy is located at the ground level to make it easily accessible to residents who may want to relax at the lounge, or get some invigorating laps at the swimming pool while the young ones have their own fun at the kiddie pool or play area.

Taking the resident’s comfort a notch higher, The Loop offers an in-house fitness gym so residents don’t need to leave home to do their exercise regimen. There’s also a multi-purpose hall to hang around or meet friends and neighbors for an intimate social gathering.

For those who want some quiet and fantastic views of CDO, The Loop has the Sky Gardens at the penthouse level. With live plants providing a refreshing green surrounding, the Sky Garden also gives a panoramic view of the city, distant mountains, and CDO’s famous Macajalar Bay.

Convenience at its best. To rise along Rosario Crescent at the Limketkai Center, The Loop is strategically located within the central business and entertainment district of CDO, making it proximate to desired destinations and locations.

Going to work is fast and convenient, with public transport available right outside the condo property. Residents can also drive the short distance from The Loop’s central location to the workplace, or simply walk to modern office buildings within Limketkai Center.

With schools and universities only a few minutes away, dropping off and picking up the kids from school will not be a problem. And if breakfast out is part of the morning itinerary, food chains and coffee shops are easily accessible within Limketkai.

Going home is quick and sweet with the short ride or drive back home. A need to buy food or grocery items before heading home is quickly solved by a stop at any of the supermarkets, grocery, and convenience stores near The Loop.

If the kids are a little frisky for some drink or snack after being picked up from school, a visit to any of the fastfood chains and snack bars nearby will make them happy.

The busy parent who needs to attend company events or business meetings outside the office can easily come home to The Loop for some quality time with the family, have a change of clothes, and drive over to the event within the central business district.

Convenience is the rule at The Loop not only during work and school week, but also during weekends. Newlyweds or young families don’t need to go far for some weekend leisure as they can either walk, ride or drive the short distance to hundreds of dining, shopping, and recreation options in Limketkai.

Whether it’s shopping, watching movies, dining out, or hanging out at their favorite coffee shop, residents will find everything within easy reach and access, including bringing kids to the clinic for their regular checkup, or to the arcade for some fun and games.

Safety for peace of mind. Everyone wants to be assured their loved ones are safe and sound inside their home even when they are not around. With The Loop’s security system, its residents are safe within the condo community.

There is round-the-clock security and the concierge staff are trained to safeguard the well-being and privacy of the residents as well as the exclusivity of The Loop. Those planning a long trip or vacation can also lock and go, as they get the peace of mind knowing their condo home is in a secure environment.

With everything set in place for a safe, convenient, and comfortable living at The Loop, young couples and families can fully enjoy their modern, stylish, and hassle-free lifestyle. Press Release: The Loop is Set to Rise in CDO

The Loop to Rise in CDO’s Central Business District

Vista Towers

Vista Residences Inc., the condominium development arm of Vista Land, the country’s largest homebuilder, is now building its first high-rise condominium property outside of Metro Manila – right in the heart of Cagayan de Oro’s central business district.

The Loop, strategically located within the bustling Lim Ket Kai Complex, will soon tower over the central business district of Cagayan de Oro. The new high-rise condominium is set to become an icon and one of the most valuable real estate developments in the city.

The landmark condo development will have two 25-storey buildings called the north and the south towers, efficiently connected by a walkway. Each tower will house 522 unique units, from studio to one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom units.

Floor area varies according to type of unit. Studio comes at 20.1 to 21.60 sq. m., one-bedroom units are at 29.55 to 38.03 sq. m., and two-bedroom units are at 50 to 59 sq. m. The Loop’s three-bedroom units at the Penthouse floor have ample space at 86 sq. m., while Garden Units at the 4th floor have spacious balcony with a floor area of 60 to 80 sq. m. Down payment for a unit at The Loop Down can start as low as P5,285 monthly.

The Loop’s masterplanned towers welcome unit owners and guests with an opulent and spacious lobby. Upscale amenity offerings on the ground level such as the adult and kiddie pools, fitness gym, multi-purpose hall, and commercial spaces will be on hand. The second and third levels will be the parking pods while the 4th floor will have garden residential units.

Residential condo units will continue from the 5th to the 24thlevel, with exclusive penthouse units at the 25th floor, and the “Canopy”at the topmost level. The towers’ East side will enjoy the mountainview while the West side will have the compelling view of the vibrant cityscape. Both towers will have 24-hour concierge services and advanced security system for residents’ convenience and peace of mind.

The Loop by Vista Residences allows the people of Cagayan and its neighboring cities to enjoy the modern comforts and conveniences of living, working, and doing business within the city’s central business, recreation and commercial district.

The comfort comes from living within the luxurious condo units of The Loop with its world-class features and amenities. The units are carefully designed to allow homeowners to live comfortably and in style.

The convenience comes from living close to workplaces, schools and universities, supermarkets, retail and shopping, business centers and a whole range of amenities that make all daily living essentials within close reach. It is a few strides away from stores and shops at the Lim Ket Kai center and right across the transport hub, giving you access to neighboring towns and cities, near and far.

The Loop’s “walkability” factor is a definite plus to many — especially to those who want to live sustainably. Living within walking distance entails less time and travel to go to desired locations, translating to less car use, saving fuel and money, and getting more time for family and other personal pursuits.

As the focal point of the city, the central business district has a high concentration of job opportunities, business and commercial activities, as well as cultural, recreational and social events. These make The Loop a bastion of the modern lifestyle in Cagayan, where live, work, and play can be easily achieved.

This most anticipated condominium development in the northern Mindanao region belongs to the prestigious portfolio of Vista Residences, a major player in the country’s multi-level, mixed-use property development industry.

To date, Vista Residences has 23 low- to high-rise condominiums in select prime locations in Metro Manila, Davao City — which hosts Vista Residences first mid-rise vertical residence outside of Mega Manila — and now in Cagayan de Oro City, making it a top choice for condo homes that provide the best city living experience.

It entered the market in 2006 to offer Filipinos the convenience of condo living. Combining the space planning savvy of the country’s top architects, an innate knack for selecting accessible and attractive locations to fit a wide range of needs, budgets and lifestyles, Vista Residences has set new standards for mid to high-rise living.

Vista Residences’ roster of elegant condo buildings include KL Mosaic, Salcedo Square, and Laureano Di Trevi (Makati), The Currency (Ortigas), The Symphony Towers, Wil Tower Mall, Vista Residences Katipunan, Madison Place Pine Crest, Brescia Residences (Quezon City), 515 Shaw (Mandaluyong), Cerritos Residences (Pasig).

It also includes Marfori and Presidio (Sucat), Vista Residences Taft, 878 Espana, and Crown Towers U-Belt (Manila), Pacific Residences, Avant at the Fort, and The Hudson (Taguig), Northpoint (Davao), and now, The Loop in Cagayan de Oro.

CDO Bloggers Meet and Greet Senator Chiz Escudero

CDO Bloggers were invited for Meet and Greet with Senator Chiz Escudero last Friday, July 6, 2012 at the Kagay-anon Restaurant, Lim Ket Kai Mall. Part of the activity would be to talk to the kind senator about the group’s objectives and how we could work together in projects for Cagayan de Oro City like the building of homes under the tutelage of the Habitat for Humanity and many others.

Unfortunately, he had to leave for Davao City after his speech at the Capitol University Gymnasium. So we were told to meet him there instead, but we still went ahead and continued the lunch meeting with his staff after we met Senator Chiz Escudero. He told us we could re-schedule when he is back in the city. We have scheduled our volunteer-ship with Habitat for Humanity there and we were able to meet Karen Davila of ABS CBN, who arrived at the restaurant while we were finishing our lunch.

Karen Davila was also in Cagayan de Oro for Habitat for Humanity related project. Thanks to Irene (@Mindanaoan) for making all these possible.

CDO Bloggers Support Kurashiki Pilipino Circle

Kurashiki Pilipino Circle is an organization in Japan that is composed of Japanese and Filipino volunteers, and they have been coming to the Philippines to conduct outreach projects with the help and support of local groups and individuals from the community they are to visit. Last December 17, 2011, representatives were here in Cagayan de Oro City and they helped during Sendong, though the support of friends and some relatives. who took them to the many different places hit by the typhoon.

This time around, Miss Marjorie Bulaclac Oyama is back with school supplies and dental kits for the students of City Central School, who are survivors of TS Washi/TS Sendong.

It was an honor that CDO Bloggers was the organization that was asked to support this activity, from the packing of the said school supplies to the distribution, and of course, documentation. It was heartwarming to see kids, with their faces lit up every time bags full of goodies were handed to them.

After distribution, we were ushered into the office of the principal for some chit chat. Mr. Padinit thanked Kurashiki Pilipino Circle, as well as the CDO Bloggers.

CDO Bloggers Courtesy Call to Governor Oscar Moreno

In line with the series of courtesy calls to local government, government offices and private organizations who actively promote and support development and projects for Cagayan de Oro City and Misamis Oriental, we visited Governor Oscar Moreno at his office for our courtesy call. It was quite a short visit, and the governor assured us that if and when resources shall be available during our event, specifically, the use of the coaster for Extreme Mindanao participants, then it shall be given for that specific use. The governor cheerfully posed with us, and even joked that we are “Dongkoy’s Friends”. Well, CDO BLOGGERS as a group, is everyone’s friend. We are for Cagayan de Oro City, Misamis Oriental and Mindanao. We are for the city’s and the province’s development, and for Mindanao’s movement towards peace. We are NOT a POLITICAL GROUP and we DO NOT SUPPORT A SPECIFIC CANDIDATE. We didn’t really mind that joke coming from the governor, as we know it was just a joke, and nothing more.

To Governor Oscar Moreno, thank you so much for your time and we look forward to having you during our events and activities..

Cadayunan Outreach Part 2: Loot Bags For Christmas Party

CDO Bloggers Inc went to Cadayunan Primary School in Besigan last December 2011 for our Christmas Outreach Program. However, when we went there, the toothbrushes from Firefly Toothbrush had not arrived yet. They arrived three days after. So, in order for us to fulfill our obligation to the sponsor,  we resolved in going back to Cadayunan Primary School for a Loot Bag giving during their Christmas party scheduled on December 16, 2011.
In the evening of December 13, 2011 we received word that the kids will be coming to the city on the 16th, thus their Christmas Party was moved earlier by a day, December 15, 2011. Because the schedule was moved, we were not been able to go there for different reasons and individual schedules plotted beforehand. So instead, we opted to simply send the loot through their adviser, Sir Joseph who is actually our contact person.

We were so lucky that Guard Insect Repellent Lotion agree to sponsor and was added to the loot.

And while toothbrushes were given by Firefly Toothbrush, blogger friend, Dhadha Garcia, provided the toothpastes that we added in the Christmas pack.
I met Sir Joseph at Jollibee Carmen, which was the meeting point during the previous trip to Besigan. They were to leave that same morning, after they finish preparing the children’s food for the party.
We all know that December 16 midnight and December 17, 2011 was the infamous TS Sendong tragedy. The organization got busy helping out, and this project had been forgotten for a time. This is actually a long overdue post due to TS Sendong complications from December 2011 onwards.
In February 2012, I saw the pictures of the kids during their Christmas Party at Sir Joseph’s FB account..
I am happy that the children of Cadayuna Primary School are okay after TS Sendong also hit some parts of Besigan. I am happy that they liked our small token of love..
And they are all thankful to all sponsors too. Thank you so much for making the children at Cadayunan Primary School happy..
Aside from the items above, included inside the loot are candies, toys, biscuits and cookies and money tokens for each kid. Below is what each child got inside the loot bag…
Thanks to my friend Amy for the money tokens. The plan was to give them inside Red Pockets, but changes went with the changes in the schedule.. We are glad Teacher Joseph made it possible for us to still send what we all wanted to give..
I would also like to thank Mommy Raya, another mommy blogger who lives in Thailand for the candies. The biscuits and cookies were from our own stock at home. My daughter told me that she wanted to give them away for the kids at Cadayunan Primary School, after seeing all the photos of our previous visit.
That’s about it. We are hoping to see them again on our next visit…
