On October 22, 2011, CDO Bloggers Inc. will be conducting a workshop that will enhance the technical knowledge of bloggers, online marketers, and other interested participants. On its third year of hosting workshops and seminars like this, CDO Bloggers Inc.continually aims to share its knowledge to the local blogging community. This year’s workshop is focused on the other areas of blogging such as online marketing, online businesses, and so much more.

Learn Parenting that Makes a Difference

This Friday, September 2, 2011 (just a few short days away) at CCF, my young couples group is going to have our first session with our new topic, PARENTING THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE. This is a 5 session (therefore five Fridays in our case) video study guide featuring one of the most powerful parenting speakers in the country, Peter Tan Chi (who many of you may remember from Parenting Winners a few years back).

Consider this blog entry as an invitation to join us in studying how to parent in a way that makes a difference at a time when it’s getting harder and harder to do so.

The first session we will tackle in a few days is called The Big Picture. I was able to get a little bit of the outline, just to whet your appetite a bit. Here it is:

Introduction: Where we learn parenting
What we should know about our children
What we should know about parenting
What we should know about the characteristics of effective parents
The goal of parenting

The next several Fridays will then cover other topics, like How to Discipline Your Children, and how to Positively Impact Them. This is really a fantastic series that I hope you can join us in.

This is the first of the CDOBloggers Workshops that we’ve planned for this year. The event was held in Bourbon St. Bistro, Rosario Arcade Limketkai Center and was well attended by new and active members of the group.

Group Goals for the Workshop

We started with the Blogging Workshop at 4pm. The participants identified their goals and learned about the different ways to Market their Blogs. We have listed below the purpose of why we wanted to create a series of Blogging Workshops.

PURPOSE OF THE BLOGGING WORKSHOP
- Teach you how to Blog
- Spark the Enthusiasm for Blogging
- Support Group for Blogging Concerns
- Get to know each other’s Blogs
- Produce Blog Content
- Practice your Craft

Attentive Participants

In the days to come, the members of the CDOBloggers group intend to improve and showcase our blogs as we come out strong in producing Great Quality Articles to feature. We initiated a Blogging Caravan Activity where our Blogging Articles will have a certain theme to follow.

Moving on, the Make Money Online Workshop was more of an introduction of the things you can expect in learning more about ways to monetize your blog. There is this focus on “Building a Business and Not just A Blog” idea.

There is this gigantic difference between building a blog and building a business. Anyone can build a blog but what we want to do in this workshop is to go about truly making money online for long term. We don’t want to focus on carelessly attributing crappy contents on our blogs but more of choosing to build our blog/brand effectively by opening to the idea of Niche Websites to improve organic traffic.

We believe that these series of workshops would greatly benefit our members and through the help of the CDOBloggers Core Members, we will continue to work and help each other improve our Blogging Skills. The Love for Blogging is after all what brought us together anyway.
