Walk Towards the First Rustan’s Supermarket in Mindanao
Step up to a healthier living on May 18, Saturday and join the walkathon towards the first Rustan’s Supermarket in Mindanao at the Centrio Mall, Cagayan de Oro City. The event is to celebrate the opening of the country’s premium supermarket most trusted in freshness, quality and customer service. The first activity of its kind in the city, this exciting fun walk for the whole family will begin and end at the Centrio Mall, CM Recto Avenue. Assembly time is at 5 a.m. with the five kilometer (5k) walk starting at 5:35 a.m. and the three kilometer (3k) distance at 5:45 a.m.
Registration is ongoing at the La Cabana Spa and the designated booth at the Centrio Mall CM Recto lobby with limited slots available. Fees for the 3K and 5K distances are at P200 and P300 respectively inclusive of snacks, an exclusive Rustan’s Supermarket loot bag, race bib, jersey and other giveaways. The supermarket will also be open earlier at 7:30 a.m. for the added convenience and pleasurable shopping experience of participants and spectators.
Take a step towards social responsibility and go the extra mile for a good cause. Walk more and give more as all proceeds will benefit the Xavier EcoVille project, a Xavier University-led resettlement initiative for Sendong survivors.
Rustan’s Supermarket will officially open its doors to the public on Friday, May 17 and will be open daily with regular store hours from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. With its vision to provide Quality for All, shoppers can expect fresh products and local and imported groceries with consistent value and quality. Customers can also enjoy delicious dishes at the Yum Yum Tree and delight in the healthy options of Gourmet to Go.Rustan Supercenters, Inc., a member of the Dairy Farm International Group, is the operator of Rustan’s Supermarkets, the Shopwise chain of hypermarkets and Wellcome.
